Heifers arrive at Bilyana shortly after weaning at an average weight of 130kg and stay with us until point of calving; reaching average weights of 600kg (dependant on breed)

For an animal to be 600kg at two years of age, we need to average 0.78kg/day of weight gain.

Normal weight gains are as follows;        Autumn          0.7kg/day

                                                                        Winter            0.6kg/day

                                                                        Spring            >0.9kg/day

                                                                        Summer         0.8kg/day

Our service is all inclusive.

We provide drenches, 7-1 and Pestiguard vaccinations and any required trace elements. Further veterinary attention and drugs are also covered by Bilyana Grazing.

We provide bulls for mating or if an AI program is required we provide labour and yarding, administration of drugs and heat detection. All heifers are pregnancy tested prior to departing Bilyana Grazing.

We assist with freeze branding or any other required husbandry.
